a collaborative success
We are happy to share our involvement in the successful installation of the racking systems in the brand-new office and warehouse of Flamingo Pet Products in Olen. This new facility promises to be a hub of growth, innovation, and collaboration for the company.
An impressive showroom of more than 1,740 m²
The new premises include a vast 33,500 m² warehouse with dimensions of 240 m in length and 144 m in width. It also features a 6,300 m² mezzanine and 4,600 m² of office space spread over four levels. To facilitate smooth logistics operations, we have installed operational pallet storage space for approximately 62,000 pallets. One of the standout features is the brand-new showroom of 1,740 m², perfect for showcasing 8,500 products. The entire structure is wrapped in a striking Flamingo-pink exterior, making it an unmissable landmark!
Efficiency and sustainability
The new facility boasts 35 loading and unloading docks, along with 3 sectional gates to streamline the loading and unloading processes. With ample parking for 226 vehicles, the site accommodates both employees and visitors comfortably.
Sustainability was a key focus in this project. The building’s roof is equipped with 5,500 solar panels, highlighting our shared commitment to a greener future. There are also numerous charging stations for employees of Flamingo Pet Products with plug-in hybrid or electric cars.
Great collaboration
Bringing the state-of-the-art facility to life was a massive collaborative effort, involving more than 250 people and 45 different companies over a span of 425 days. We are incredibly proud of our contribution to this remarkable achievement.
