stow Racking - Miniload single-store

Miniload single-store:
Automated small parts storage

Miniload shelving systems are designed for high-volume storage of small to medium-sized items. Important factors when choosing a system include storage capacity, throughput, automation, space utilization, and safety.

The stow Miniload Single-store AS/RS is an automated system for storing small goods, such as totes or cartons, with load capacities ranging from 5 to 250 kg per unit.

Automated cranes handle the goods, retrieving them from their storage locations and delivering them to the picking point or conveyor. The system can be customized with a Fine Positioning System for enhanced accuracy.

Adaptable to any type of AS/RS handling device

stow has built large, automated racking installations with most known system integrators. Each automated storage system is adaptable to any type of AS/RS-handling device, equipped with telescopic forks, side grips or with another extracting system.

The shape and quality of the plastic bin or carton is very important for a good design of the automated racking system. The width, the depth and the height of the totes determine the dimensions of one level. Different sizes of totes can be combined. The final dimensioning must take the specific requirements of the AS/RS crane into consideration.

Fencing is used in the crane runout areas, with a typical height of 2.2m and grid size of 50×30.

Segregation between aisles prevents maintenance personnel from moving between aisles.

The maintenance platform is installed on top of the rack, next to the runout, for safe maintenance work on the upper parts of crane masts.
